Nene was still feeling the effects of her big blow out with Gregg’s son, Damien, from last week’s episode so she was definitely in need of a quick getaway. She rounded up all her bridesmaids and flew them to Los Angeles for a little bonding time. Unfortunately, it seemed as if her bridesmaids packed their problems and Louboutins in their suitcases because boy did they brought the drama! As if Nene didn’t have enough stress in her life trying to fix things with Gregg’s children, she now had to try and keep a group of grown women from killing each other, all in the sake of Nene’s wedding. Family Drama

If you recall from last week’s episode, things got crazy when Gregg’s children sat down with Gregg, Nene and Dr. Jeff to try and fix whatever issues were plaguing the family. After Damien walked out of the room to blow off some steam, he finally returned and was ready to finish their counseling session. Dr. Jeff was fed up with the family claiming that “nothing happened” when clearly they were all holding resentment towards Gregg and Nene for their parent’s divorce.

Damien finally admitted that he felt like his father was never there for them, never picked up the phone to call them and quite frankly didn’t even care. It was obvious that Gregg’s children were a little scared to tell him how they really felt and Nene made it clear that she wouldn’t be able to marry Gregg until everything was fixed with them. After a long winded counseling session, Gregg vowed to his children that he would be there for them from now on. His children accepted his apology and it looked like the Leakes family was on the right track to fixing their broken hearts. At least for the time being.

Back To Wedding Planning

Wedding planning took a backseat to all of Nene and Gregg’s family drama but she was finally ready to get back into the swing of things. She met with the same wedding planner who planned Porsha and Kordell’s wedding to go over her vision for her big day. She wanted the theme of her wedding to be “old Hollywood glamor” equipped with huge chandeliers and white, everywhere! She definitely wanted her brides maids to wear all white, considering that some of them hadn’t been married yet and unfortunately some never would. She also wanted to have a huge and over the top wedding just for her girlfriends who were there for her through all of her divorce drama. What a great friend!

Going Back To Cali

Nene and her brides maids went off to Cali to go dress shopping and pick out the brides maids dresses. Nene was excited that her Cali girlfriends could meet her Atlanta girlfriends but hoped that they could hold off on bickering for the sake of shopping. As soon as the girls landed, Marlo and Diana were at each others’ throats AGAIN! It was clear that these two ladies would never see eye to eye, even for the sake of Nene’s wedding.

After a few days of dress shopping and pampering, the girls got together for dinner at Mr. Chow. Of course, it wasn’t long before Diana and Marlo started going at it again. Diana was still weary of Marlo’s motives for being Nene’s friend and Marlo was convinced that Diana was crazy. The girls continued to bicker back and forth throughout the course of the dinner and it was quite obvious that these two wouldn’t be able to ever be friends. In the words of Nene Leakes, let us pray…
