Suzie Is The New Tami 'Basketball Wives' [RECAP]

Last week on “Basketball Wives,” Suzie got amped up after a pep talk from Tami and confronted Tasha at her hotel room where she smacked her hat right off her head. Pure comedy. Suzie, in the wake of her liberating experience, ran to Evelyn and Tami for their approval. How did the drama play out? Find out what happened inside.

“What is gon’ happen now?” – Tami

After hearing about Suzie’s heated confrontation with Tasha, Tami asked the million dollar question: “What is gon’ happen now?” Suzie was still looking for an apology from Tasha after Tasha called her out at lunch days prior. Tami agreed that Suzie deserved an apology for the way she was treated but does that also mean Suzie should apologize for showing up to Tasha’s hotel and yelling, “f*** you”? Just saying.

Tami was proud of her little protégé for standing up for herself and not letting everyone walk all over her like a doormat. At that moment, at least, Tami was “Team Suzie.” “I’m always gonna stand up for the little man. Even when she’s six feet tall,” Tami told cameras.

New Business Ventures

Aside from gossiping, fighting and throwing shade, the “Basketball Wives” are actually pretty intelligent and have great business ideas. Tami was working on a new business idea, TR, a nail polish line. She hosted a launch party for her new product that featured appearances from all of her celebrity friends including our favorite reality TV player, Stevie J. Tami got emotional while thanking  the girls for being there for her…but wait, do they all even speak!? Now that was a launch (and a laugh)!

Evelyn was in the beginning stages of building a new clothing line, Vida Lux, that would focus on maxi dresses because that was absolutely her thing. She decided that the best way to debut her line would be during London Fashion Week which was the perfect opportunity to get all of the ladies together for their annual vacation. The only problem was that Suzie and Tasha weren’t exactly the best of friends, so the girls wondered how they would get along while in London. If I could take a wild guess, I would say that this trip doesn’t sound like it’s going to end well…

Little Tami

Now that the trip to London was soon approaching, Ev decided to extend the invitation to their new friend, Tasha. Ev warned Tasha  that Suzie would be coming on the trip as well and wanted to hear her thoughts on the whole situation. Tasha said she was over the whole situation, but that she still felt some type of way about Suzie after their encounter at the hotel. Tasha was extremely upset that during the argument Suzie brought up Tasha’s husband which was a definite no-no in Tasha’s book. The best solution seemed to be either stay away from each other or make amends. I think I like the former better than the latter.

Ev let Suzie know that Tasha would be coming on the trip with the girls and Suzie promised to leave “Little Tami” a.k.a her bully attitude behind. But then later in the episode, Suzie met with Tami to discuss the upcoming excursion and Suzie explained that she might need her “Little Tami” to back her up in case Tasha got a little crazy. If Suzie brings her new found attitude across the pond things are bound to get crazy, but of course it wouldn’t be the girls if someone wasn’t popping off.
