TLC takes fans on a trip down memory lane in the visuals for their new single, “Meant To Be.”
Just two days after the premiere of VH1′s CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, the Ne-Yo produced track is another reminder of why we first fell in love with T-Boz, Chili and Left Eye two decades ago. The video features old clips from past performances, throwback footage of Lisa Lopes and new shots from their recording session.

“I said If I got nothing else / I got memories of what we felt / I said and laugh into myself, sometimes, nobody / Those silly reasons we would fight / Where no matter who was wrong or right / We were always right there / Sharing this love, sharing this life,” T-Boz sings in the first verse.
“Cause we’re new, said we’re always new / And no matter what would occur / That we were, meant to be / And it ain’t gonna be easy / That no matter what, baby we’re meant to be / And we ain’t never not know that we were always meant to be / Meant to be,” Chilli chimes in.
The song is lifted from TLC’s new greatest hits album 20, in stores now.

Melanie Fiona Chucks The Dueces To Her Record Label
Melanie Fiona is now an indie artist.
According to Billboard, the songstress left Universal earlier this year for a new partnership with Pepsi and Complex Media.
“I’m at a place where I can make music very creatively free, and working with Pepsi was just very easy,” she said. “With labels, there’s a whole plan and everybody’s talking about all these different things at once. But with Pepsi and Complex, it was just, ‘here’s some of our ideas, what are yours, and we’ll see you on the day of the shoot.’ It was very relaxed and wasn’t stressful at all. And to know that they wanted to create a visual for it was so cool – I wouldn’t have had my own ice cream truck with my name on it had I done this myself! It’s like, wild.”
The Toronto native produced two albums under Motown, 2009’s The Bridge and 2012’s The MF Life.

Kelly Rowland’s Dad Begs For Forgiveness
Kelly Rowland’s dad left her and her mom when she was just 7-years-old, and now he’s looking to make things right.
During an interview with Radar Online, the 67-year-old said he hopes his daughter can find a place in her heart to forgive him.
“So many previous years have passed and I’m getting old,” he said. “I just pray she comes back into my life before it’s too late…I couldn’t control [the drinking and verbal abuse that Kelly witnessed]. I hoped I could make it up to her. But I’m still waiting for that day.”
He went on to give Kelly a special message: “I love you with all my heart.”
He added, “Whenever [Destiny’s Child] was on the cover of a magazine, I would call and beg them to tell her I was looking for her.”
In a 2011 interview with Cosmo, the songstress said she forgives her dad, but wishes he’d keep the details of their relationship more private.
“He reached out to me saying he wanted to see me, but it’s unfortunate he did it so publicly. I want to meet him, and soon, I really do. I forgave him a long time ago. I haven’t seen my dad for almost 20 years. It’s nothing I want a pity party for. He left me and my mom, and I was angry. I wanted to be a daddy’s girl so bad. God damn ‘The Cosby Show’ because that made me think ‘Why aren’t my family like that?’ But this is not a perfect world.”
“It’s really important just to forgive my father. I want to meet him this Christmas, because now is the time, because tomorrow’s not promised to us,” she in a later interview that year. “I think it’s important to forgive people and we move on, we have to. The pain is there, of course it will be there, and it’s important to know that forgiveness is the first step towards healing it all.”
