‘Beyonce’ Sales Jump Over 800K

Beyonce’s self-titled fifth album sold over 828,773 copies (617,213 copies domestically) over the weekend snagging the number one spot on the charts and breaking the record for the fastest-selling album to ever hit iTunes, reports HuffingtoPost, making it the ultimate slap in the face to record execs who allegedly didn’t believe in the project (click here, if you missed that).

Bey performed one of her new tracks “XO” at the Chicago stop on her “Mrs. Carter” tour.

While Miley Cyrus tried twerking her way to the top, another artist, Bruno Mars, relied on his undeniable talent to secure Billboard’s Top Artist Of 2013 title. With a No. 1 hit, “When I Was Your Man,” a top 5 hit with “Treasure,” his sophomore album, “Unorthodox Jukebox,” that sold more than 1.8 million units and four Grammy noms, Mars is also one of the most successful artists of 2013. “It’s flattering. It’s just an honor,” Mars said in an interview this week. “I’m proud to be a part of this whole team that I have.”

Matt Kemp Taking Lamar Odom’s Place?

Khloe Kardashian officially filed for divorce from drug addicted hubby Lamar Odom, but just in time to welcome baseball player Matt Kemp into the Kardashian home. Kemp (who once dated Rihanna) is rumored to be dating Khloe Kardashian and added fuel to said allegations when he posted a picture of the famous Kardashian foyer on Instagram. “Best time of the year!! It’s gonna b a Cali Christmas this year,” he wrote.

Khloe and Kemp have been spotted on numerous occasions, including the day she filed for divorce from Odom when she and Kemp hooked up at the gym.

If you thought the only time Rihanna responded to her navy is when she has something negative to say (#clapback)…think again. This weekend, a fan reached out to Ri Ri via private message and the “We Found Love” singer responded with relationship advice.

“Hey Rih, I hope it’s not a bad time to message. Just been down lately and wondering if you had any words of encouragement. Trust issues with men,” the fan wrote.
