Keyshia Cole’s New Song “Next Time” Explains Breakup

keyshia-cole-husband

After months of speculation that Keyshia Cole and her baller hubby Daniel Gibson were headed for a split, the singer recently revealed that their marriage is on the rocks and they’re currently “co-parenting.”

The songstress, who confessed during an interview with Power 105.1,  didn’t go into detail about her separation, but she did give some insight (we think) about the breakup in her latest release “Next Time.”

“We’re fighting and arguing/And cussing all out/Something I think you do it so you can walk out/And you’re saying plenty things that you really don’t mean/I told you really mean it ’cause it hurts,” she sings on the heartfelt ballad. “Seem kinda crazy saying you love me so much/ How could you bring that woman into our home/ With my baby laid, damn right here it’s over/ The crazy part about it is I took you right back

I thought you were a changed man.”

Miguel + Wale + Elton John= Epic!

Miguel and Wale made musical magic on “Flower Bomb” and the duo is back with another song but this time they’re tackling Elton John’s “Bennie & The Jets.” We know….awesome!

Miguel and Wale joined the ranks of Fall Out Boy, Emeli Sandi and Ed Sheeran on the 40th anniversary of Elton John’s classic album “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” that will be released with the various covers of John’s songs, a 100-page illustrated book and a  DVD of his film.

John, who’s previously collaborated with Eminem, sought to create Hip Hop music. He told Billboard“I’d love to. I just don’t know how to do it. I do love electronica. So, for me, I’d have to work with someone who knows about it, like a Pharrell or a Kanye, who I respect tremendously. I’d love to do that. It’s just a matter of when and where and, should I do it, the mood that I’m in. You can never tell. It’s happenstance and luck, basically.”

Looks like he’s found his niche.

I’m just going to throw this out there, can we get a Miguel and Wale album?

Ladies, grab your panties, D’ Angelo dropped some new music (well, kinda new). The soulful crooner recently released “I’m Glad You’re Mine,” a cover of the Al Green’s classic, that he performed in London at the Jazz Cafè on September 14, 1995. And unless you were lucky enough to have been there (or can travel back in time) you might want to plug in your headphones!

“I’m Glad You’re Mine” will be featured on his Live album due out Tuesday, March 25.

Remember Amil From The Roc? She’s Got A New Track Out

Remember Amil from Tha Tha Tha Roc (she was on Jay Z’s hood hit “Jigga What, Jigga Who?”)? Well she’s back with a new rap attempting to throw her hat into the female emcee ring. Amil disappeared after her album “All Money Is Legal,” sold 29,000 copies in it’s first week. Let’s just say she wasn’t the first lady for long…

Amil was rumored to be working at Target and though we’re not sure that’s true, we know one thing, she shouldn’t quit her day job now.

Take a listen to her reemergence:
