Wendy Williams Reveals ‘Tortured’ Childhood

Behind the smiles of our favorite celebrity personalities are secrets that loom in the shadows of their success. It isn’t until they reveal certain tribulations that we’re reminded they’re people too. Wendy Williams may look fabulous with thousand dollar wigs and shoes, but the media maven had a “tortured” childhood that followed her well into her older years.

The daytime talk show host is approaching her 50th birthday and opened up about being bullied in an interview with ABC’s Dan Kloeffle.

“I had a very tortured childhood,” she said. “I was tortured, they fat shamed me … So, I want to talk about growing up. I want to answer the big question about the boobs. People know they are breast implants, but a lot of people, I read and see, ‘You’ve lost so much weight now, you need a breast reduction.’ I will answer you straight and direct, if you are in Vegas.”

Wendy also revealed her stuggles with being called a “man.” “People do think I was born a man,” she said. “That is absolutely not [true]. I get it. I’ve got a strong face, a strong body, I’m 5’11. I wear wigs.”

Despite her upbringing, Wendy’s reached a level of stardom that most people dream about. It didn’t come without sacrifice, she clearly lost a lot of friends in the process. But, Wendy says she regrets none of it!

Kim K’s Working Mom Advice

Kim Kardashian totally knows about being a working mom, because she’s a working mom…of sorts. The reality star opened up during an interview with CNBC, about the struggles of motherhood and that age old question: can women have it all?

Kim was promoting the Kardashian Kids collection of high-fashion yet affordable baby clothes, when she dropped this gem:

“I mean, I think that’s just not really like a positive outlook and for me, like my mom kind of taught us girls that we could have it all. You know, she works hard. She taught us that if you work hard, it’s just all about prioritizing and I think that, yeah, it could get tough and after you have a baby, there are so many times when I just didn’t want to get up and work on something and I just wanted to be home with my baby, but, you know, for me, and I think I can speak for my sisters, it makes us feel good when we are out working and we can provide something for our friends and products that, you know, we can’t find that we really want. And it just makes you feel productive. So if anyone really feels like they can’t do it all, I feel like it’s a little bit discouraging to say that, even if I couldn’t and it wasn’t possible, I would try. And I would, you know, try my best to do it all.”

We know what you’re thinking, but Kim totally works. She has to listen to Kanye rant all day and that’s enough work to last a lifetime. She has the Kardashian line that she signs-off on at Sears. And what about her reality show, where cameras follow her around living her life. Not to mention, she has to always be camera-ready for the paps…Being Kim K isn’t easy.

Poor Bobby Brown Can’t Keep Up With The Rest Of New Edition

Poor Bobby Brown, he used to be so agile when he humped the stage and stuff.

Bobby recently took to the stage with New Edition, but didn’t quite make it through the performance after becoming winded. At one point Bobby could be seen trying to catch his breath with his hands resting on his knees. Bobby, being the graceful entertainer he is, gave it his all until he decided to just walk off stage.

KeKe Wyatt’s Vocals Goes Viral

Say what you want about KeKe Wyatt’s attitude, crazy personality or elastic face, but don’t ever say she can’t sanggg! Video of the “R&B Diva” belting out “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” as she undressed, hit Facebook and Chile, we have goosebumps. Laverne Cox Snags A New TV Role

We’ll be the first ones to admit how much we love “Orange Is The New Black,” and one of it’s stars, Laverne Cox. But, the actress is now pursuing other TV roles! According to reports, Laverne has a guest role on Bravo’s first upcoming original series, “Girlfriends’ Guide To Divorce.” The show, which will premiere later this year, focuses on a self-help book author who keeps her separation from her husband a secret as she learns to navigate life without him.

In the new show, Laverne will play Adele Northup, a Pulitzer-Prize winning war journalist and LGBT activist who’ll present an award at a marriage equality gala.

We’re not sure how big the role will be, but we’re here for Laverne’s success!
