New Rihanna Album Coming Soon?
We knew it. Rihanna drops an album every year and we’re hoping 2014 is no different.
Ri Ri has been secretly sliding in and out of studios from coast to coast and last week, she held a private album listening party for Def Jam executives and reps. According to the source, who leaked the news, Ri Ri played 10 new tracks including a potential lead single titled, ”I’ve Been Searching For Something To Ignite Me When I’m Alone.”
Earlier this month, an alleged tracklist for Ri’s forthcoming album hit the net, but there hasn’t been chatter since. Neyo, who’s working with Ri, said this about the upcoming opus,
Ri Ri’s remaining mum about the project, but did mention this during an interview at the launch of her men’s cologne line,
“I can’t give you any hints of when it will drop. It’s going to be great, that’s all I’m going to tell you and I’m excited about it. I try to battle myself and outdo everything I’ve done and that’s been the hardest thing to do. You start over-thinking things at times. I can’t wait for everybody to hear (the music) little by little. … little by little. I can’t wait.”

Nicki Teases ‘Only’ Video & We Can’t Stop Looking At Her Shoes
Nicki Minaj released her single “Only” a few weeks and we’ve been waiting on the edge of our seats for visuals to match the club banger ever since. And it looks like we won’t have to wait for long. Nicki took to Instagram to tease the forthcoming video and debut some killer freakin’ shoes in the process.
“#ONLYVideo will be out soon. The Pinkprint arrives on 12.15.14,” read one of the captions of the photos. “On set of the ONLY video,” read the other.
Only features appearances by Chris Brown, Drake and Lil Wayne but we’re unsure if the boys will unite to shoot the video — after all, we don’t think Drake and Chris actually get along, especially after Drizzy’s shady comments about Breezy’s song “Loyal.”
Controversy surrounding “Only’s” anti-semitic lyric video only added to the single’s buzz. We just hope the official vid looks nothing like the nazi-esque visuals.
