Anthony Mackie Says Dreadlocks Lead to Racial Profiling

Damn Anthony Mackie, what did dreadlocks do to you?

The “Black and White” actor gave an interesting interview with The Grio, where he touched on timely issues like’Selma‘s Oscar snub and racial profiling. While his comments on “Selma” thrusted the actor into headlines, his views on dreadlocks really hit a nerve with some folks.

“Like my nephew wanted to grow dreadlocks. I’m like fine, I’ll sit you down and I’ll watch The First 48 with you and everybody you see on that show, that’s doing something wrong, they’re black dudes with dreadlocks. So, do you want to be seen as part of the problem or do you want to be an individual?”

Really? 

Interestingly enough, Mackie is promoting a movie about a white grandfather left to raise a Black granddaughter and the child’s paternal family who wants custody.

Anthony Mackie must be a “new Black“ like Pharrell. He clearly subscribes to the belief that Black’s wouldn’t get killed if they dressed a certain way. SMH. We’re guessing Mackie isn’t aware of the cases where people have been killed and it didn’t matter if they had dreads or a fade.

Jay Leno Speaks On Bill Cosby Allegations “I Don’t Know Why It’s So Hard To Believe Women”

The comedy community has largely been silent about the Bill Cosby rape allegations but Jay Leno minced no words when he was asked about the controversial scandal.

“I don’t know why it’s so hard to believe women. You to go Saudi Arabia and you need two women to testify against a man. Here you need 25.”

Leno made the comments during a Q&A discussion at the 2015 NATPE conference. He also praised the fact that Hannibal Burress‘  joke was able to go viral, noting that many years ago a statement like that would’ve been edited.

We’re glad that someone isn’t afraid to truthfully speak about the Cosby allegations and not dance around them like his former costars.

Safaree Misses Nicki Minaj

He want that old thing back.

Nicki Minaj and Safaree broke up nearly 6 months, but the Internet is just now finding out about it. The former couple have exchanged words on Twitter and Safaree detailed the cause of their demise in a very telling interview.

While Nicki is allegedly dating Meek Mill, Safaree seems to be feeling incomplete without his Barb. He tweeted,

Of course, he deleted the tweet but not before BallerAlert grabbed a screenshot. Despite her “relationship” with Meek, we bet Nicki misses him too. You don’t spend over 10 years and let it go so easily.

We’re rooting for them to reunite.

Ludacris’ Daughter Cai Is Adorable

We all heard about Ludacris‘ “on break baby” last year, but we had never actually seen a pic of the 1-year-old tot…until now. Ludacris’ baby mama, Tameka Fuller recently uploaded photos of Cai on Instagram and we are swooning!

What a cutie!

Ludacris also has a 13 year-old daughter, Karma from a previous relationship. Do you think Cai favors Karma? They look like twins!

Seems like the “on break baby”strengthened Ludacris’ bond with Eudoxie because they got married last month in Costa Rica.

Tameka and Ludacris are still locked in a bitter custody battle over Cai so this story is far from over.

We’re guessing “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” peach Claudia Jordan didn’t hear about the Mimi Faust sex tape scandal because she may be facing the same controversy. According to reports, Claudia’s ex, Joel Randall, is threatening to release a steamy video of the reality star.

Randall claims the tape was filmed in the Dominican Republic on Jordan’s iPad. It’s very coincidental that this tape would pop up after NeNe called her a slut and said she slept with all of Hollywood.

Hmph. We’ll just have to wait and see about this one.
