Kenya Moore made her highly anticipated debut on “Millionaire Matchmaker” last night and surprisingly, she was likeable. We almost shed a tear listening to her detail her struggling relationship with her mother. OK, maybe not a tear…but we emphasized with her more than we do on “Real Housewives Of Atlanta.” Kenya, like all other hopefuls, looked to Patti to help find a mate. And like the other hopefuls, Patti came through. She hooked Kenya up with gorgeous 6’3 man, who the reality star described as “kind” and “romantic.”
Kenya and her Prince Charming’s relationship appears to be thriving. She posted a photo of them on Instagram last night.

Angelina Jolie’s Shocking Health Scare

We’ve always admired Angelina Jolie‘s strength, but we’ve gained a new respect for the Academy Award winning actress after she revealed she underwent a preventative procedure to have her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed. Two years ago, Jolie underwent a preventive double mastectomy after a blood test revealed she carried a mutation in the BRCA1 gene that increased her risk of breast cancer to 87% and ovarian cancer to 50%.
Doctors found a small benign tumor on one ovary but no signs of cancer in her tissues.
In an op-ed for The New York Times, Angelina wrote,
I had been planning this for some time. It is a less complex surgery than the mastectomy, but its effects are more severe. It puts a woman into forced menopause. So I was readying myself physically and emotionally, discussing options with doctors, researching alternative medicine, and mapping my hormones for estrogen or progesterone replacement. But I felt I still had months to make the date.
Then two weeks ago I got a call from my doctor with blood-test results. “Your CA-125 is normal,” he said. I breathed a sigh of relief. That test measures the amount of the protein CA-125 in the blood, and is used to monitor ovarian cancer. I have it every year because of my family history.
She added,
It is not possible to remove all risk, and the fact is I remain prone to cancer. I will look for natural ways to strengthen my immune system. I feel feminine, and grounded in the choices I am making for myself and my family. I know my children will never have to say, “Mom died of ovarian cancer.”
Powerful.

Lil Mo Shows Off Her Baby Bump In An Interesting Way

Lil’ Mo is definitely one of our favorite “R&B Divas,” but we’re scratching our heads on this one. Earlier this week, Mo revealed that she is pregnant with her fifth child and posted her baby bump on Instagram. Seems normal, right? One would think.
Mo’s photo not only revealed her growing belly, but damn near exposed her vagina.
Fans immediately began commenting under the photo. “Im a mother and this pic is a bit too much, but hey… She pay her own bills… Just wish she could have classed it up a bit,” one fan wrote.
We’re not sure if we’d post a photo like Mo’s, but we do see something beautiful about the image despite her cootie cat being out. What do you think?

Laura Govan Says Gilbert Arenas Kicked Her Out

Laura Govan and Gilbert Arena‘s breakup is getting uglier by the minute. According to TheJasmineBrand, the former “Basketball Wives LA” star is suing Arenas after she claims he sold the $2 million engagement ring he gave her and kicked her out of their LA mansion.
TMZ obtained the court documents and while Govan and Arenas were never officially married, they lived together as such and she says they agreed to equally share his earnings.
Laura suffered a wardrobe malfunction that left her breast exposed, on the red carpet, earlier this year.

Chris Tucker Lands New Comedy Deal

Kevin Hart isn’t the only comedian with a hot stand-up routine, Chris Tucker is ready to bring the laughs on his very first comedy special that will air on Netflixx, reports Variety.
“I’m thrilled to be partnering with Netflix, one of the true global leaders in entertainment, on my first comedy special,” Tucker said. “Before people started seeing me in movies, I was doing stand-up. It’s always been a part of me, and now I’m excited to share it with my fans around the world.”
Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos added, “Chris Tucker is a true global movie star and a one-of-a-kind talent whose remarkable energy, delivery and original style make him one of the funniest comedians of our time […] We cannot wait to share his distinct and hilarious voice with our members across the globe.”
We’re totally here for it.
