If you’re looking for a last minute fix to get your belly flat for those Summer vacation photos, here are 3 things that can get you well on your way!
- Eat smaller meals more frequently. Smaller meals gives your digestive system more time to process foods you eat and can help reduce bloating.
- Reduce your intake of high fiber foods. Although fiber IS important to have in your diet, many high fiber foods (such as broccoli, beans, Brussels sprouts) can lead to bloating. You can still eat these foods, just in smaller portions.
- Eat potassium rich foods. Some examples include bananas, avocados, mangoes, and cantaloupe. Potassium is a natural diuretic and has been proven to reduce water retention and “puffiness” in the midsection.
