There’s no doubt that every great accomplishment begins with a thought. Before you can achieve your fitness goals, you have to be mentally focused. Here are 3 ways to improve your mental health:

  1. Value yourself. Speak positively about yourself and avoid criticism or comparisons.
  2. Surround yourself with good people. Remember, you are a reflection of the company you keep. Avoid negative people and align yourself with those whose energy is similar to yours.
  3. Set realistic goals. Sometimes you can set yourself up for disappointment when you set the bar too high. Instead, be realistic about what you can achieve within a specified period of time, then build from there.
