FEMA is Offering Rental Assistance in Georgia
If you, or someone you know, lives in one of the following counties and was impacted by Hurricane Helene and Tropical Storm Debby (for those impacted by Debby between August 4 and August 20 of this year), you may qualify for assistance.
According to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, renters, including students, with uninsured losses can get assistance with housing and shelter needs in more than 60 Georgia counties. –WBSTV
Residents in the following counties may qualify: Appling, Atkinson, Bacon, Ben Hill, Berrien, Brantley, Brooks, Bryan, Bulloch, Burke, Butts, Camden, Candler, Charlton, Chatham, Clinch, Coffee, Colquitt, Columbia, Cook, Dodge, Echols, Effingham, Elbert, Emanuel, Evans, Fulton, Glascock, Glynn, Hancock, Irwin, Jeff Davis, Jefferson, Jenkins, Johnson, Lanier, Laurens, Liberty, Lincoln, Long, Lowndes, McDuffie, McIntosh, Montgomery, Newton, Pierce, Rabun, Richmond, Screven, Tattnall, Telfair, Thomas, Tift, Toombs, Treutlen, Ware, Warren, Washington, Wayne and Wheeler counties.
