They found pieces of hard, clear plastic in the tots, so they’re pulling over 1 million pounds of them outta circulation across 26 states. They’re talking Ore-Ida Tater Tots and Sysco Imperial Potato Tater Barrel bags; mostly big bulk packages you’d see in restaurants or catering spots, not your regular lil grocery store bags. It’s a Class II recall, which means serious harm probably isn’t likely, but ain’t nobody tryna chew on plastic and deal with a messed-up stomach or mouth, right? So, if you do have some of these, toss ’em or send ’em back.

Now don’t panic… as of now, health officials haven’t heard about anyone getting sick because of the plastic bits, but they’re still keeping folks on guard. The products were shipped everywhere from Florida to California to Illinois and beyond, so it’s not just one little area.
