Verizon To Offer Customers A $20 Credit For Outage Issues

Yesterday was a rough day if you have Verizon.
The carrier experienced a major service disruption that left at least a million customers without service, some phones were even stuck in SOS mode.
So what happened?
Verizon has not yet provided full details, but federal and local officials investigating the massive outage are increasingly pointing to a suspected server failure in New Jersey.
Verizon did issue a statement to CNN Thursday, saying it will provide affected customers with a $20 account credit, redeemable through the MyVerizon app. According to the company, the credit is intended to cover “multiple days of service” on average.
Verizon added:
“This credit isn’t meant to make up for what happened. No credit really can. But it’s a way of acknowledging our customers’ time and showing that this matters to us.”
If you’re a Verizon customer, do you feel the $20 credit is enough to make up for the stress and anxiety from yesterday’s outage?
